Manchester Marriott Hotel, Piccadilly

We were proud to be the Principal Contractor for the refurbishment of Manchester Marriott Hotel Piccadilly (M1 2PG), enhancing guestrooms and public spaces while ensuring minimal disruption.

The project included the upgrade of 338 guestrooms and corridors across eight floors, as well as the modernisation of 18 public spaces, including the reception, gym, restaurant, and ballroom. Our scope of work covered full refurbishments, incorporating new flooring, ceilings, decor, and bespoke joinery. Mechanical and electrical upgrades were also implemented, such as AC systems and new lighting installations. Additionally, we installed new furniture and fittings, from carpets to artwork, to create a fresh and contemporary space.

Led by Construction Director Anthony Wild, who brought 36 years of experience, our dedicated project and site managers ensured seamless delivery. Our skilled workforce, including electricians, joiners, and decorators, was supported by strict quality assurance measures, utilising real-time inspections to maintain the highest standards.

As the hotel remained occupied during the refurbishment, we implemented staggered work schedules and restricted noisy work hours to minimise disruption. Clear communication and phased refurbishments ensured a smooth process with efficiency and safety at every stage.

We successfully completed the project on track for September 2024, maintaining budget and quality expectations. Our efforts maximised room availability and revenue for the hotel while ensuring a seamless guest experience throughout the renovation process.
