The Piece Hall, Halifax

Project: The Piece Hall

Client: Calderdale Council

Value: £2m

A dedicated focus on the M&E works was required, along with a significant amount of intricate stone masonry and bespoke joinery works (doors, casings and frames) which all had to be in keeping with the heritage of the building.

The Piece Hall in Halifax was originally built as a market where merchants could sell ‘pieces’ of cloth. Incredibly it was only open for 2 hours each week.
